  The good home interior design can not be separated from how to give color to match the furniture. One important thing to consider in designing the interior of the house is how choosing furniture and beautiful ornaments and appropriate. Interior design and home decorating is a way to reveal a lot about your personality. You can use the style you choose to surprise people when they walk through the front door. Through the style and theme you choose where you clearly define your passions. Some homes are decorated to look like they popped off the pages of a home design magazine. The rooms seem tied together with color, proportion and design. What makes these homes stand out? Can your home become as pretty as a picture? Choose a color palette carefully. When selecting background colors for flooring, walls, window treatments and large pieces of furniture think "long-term." We were helping a friend with paint colors in his new house the other day and it dawns on us that everyone always thinks about painting the walls, but never the ceiling.  Most people just leave the ceiling white. But why oh why?  Let us tell you, painting the ceiling is one of the best things you can do to your house. It warms it up instantly. Did you see the spread in last month Elle Decor on Ralph Lauren?  His place is to die for, seriously. Ralph Lauren has been around for so long. We remember saving up for a set of his paisley bedsheets in the 80S! His style evolves a bit, but not much. We suppose that's why they call it classic, right? We would like to make a little announcement today. A few months back we announced the launch of Digging Decor , which originally was conceived as a design blog. As the months went by, we decided the better approach was to re-design it as a  decorating community site, with the focus on decorating photos. If you're anything like us, you rather look at the pictures than read the text, right?  The goal for the site is to be the largest library of decorating photos , all well-indexed and well-categorized for easy searching with proper credit given to the original source. We hate to toot our own horn, but the site is quite lovely and quite sleek.  In addition to having tons of pictures, you can also join the community to ask fellow members questions like-- how to do this, where to find what etc.  You can also post your own blog, upload picture of your favorite room, and get updated on deals and designed-related events. They say McMansions are dead, but if you happen to already have one , this is a nice way to decorate it.
