Just because I'm engaged now doesn't mean I've got nurseries on my mind! But when I first saw this amazing one by New Orleans designer Elizabeth Sullivan, I have to admit my ovaries did hurt a little! It's just exactly the sort of space I would want to have for my own little one some day. Full of fun color, lots of texture and cozy layers. How cool are those aqua stripes on the ceiling?? And the wall of books?! Genius! Elizabeth actually has her own blog too that I love...check it out here !

While anxiously awaiting the birth of her new son, my super-talented (and super-sweet) reader Robyn of The Farmer Family just put the final touches on this beautifully harmonious nursery. The only thing that could possibly improve it would be the addition of her soon-to-be-born little one! How gorgeous is the fabric she selected for the bedding and curtains?! Believe it or not, she didn't even plan it when she picked it out, it just happened to perfectly match the existing wall color! You're all going to want to head over to visit Robyn. Yes. YES. This is how you do a nursery people! I stopped dead in my tracks when I spotted this room on Two Tall Blondes. Lucky little Vivi is the daughter of Joni, the talent behind Chocolate Butterbean. Her custom signs and stationary are amazing , so really it's so surprise to me that she churned out such a cool space (and a cool new nursery inspiration blog ...). If you're like me, you neeeeed to know what colors we have here. Valspar Aqua Glow on the walls, and the ceiling is a lighter shade of the same color, Valspar Grand Hotel Mackinac Blue . Those colors and the b&w chevron rug really tie the eclectic space together in such a sophisticated way. See and learn more right here !

When Black. White. Yellow. featured this amazing nursery from Ohdeedoh , I knew I'd have to share it with you guys (and that I'd also be bookmarking it for future reference). I was excited to discover that the nursery was created by an adorable mom-to-be named Megan who has 2 blogs, Megan Creates and Me and Wee , in addition to an Etsy store . Busy bee! I just love the cheery color combo she used here for her baby-on-the-way Little P. The wall color is Benjamin Moore #618 Robin's Nest, and it looks perfect next to all the pretty yellow. Aren't the wicker elephant hamper and the "hooray" banner just the cutest things ever?!

I am leaving this afternoon for a 10 day vacation to Las Vegas and Arizona. Perfect timing, since we had a big snow storm here in Minneapolis yesterday! I might have a chance here and there to share some turquoise rooms with you, but for the most part I'm going to take a break from the blog. I was so happy that yesterday Desire to Inspire wrote about Melanie Coddington and her team at Coddington Design . The first image of the turquoise little girl's room made me gasp out loud, but the other rooms are just as beautiful!

I never watched Tori and Dean's TV show on Oxygen, but I love this nursery for their son Liam that Style & Grace featured a few months ago. The wallpaper is simply gorgeous!

I have adored the turquoise and red combo for so long, so its fun to see it pop up here and there in places other than my own home. I can easily envision having this nursery/child's room in my own home someday (I doubt I could ever keep any room this uncluttered though!). I love all the prints, that modern crib, the floor, the birds and trees!! - Ohdeedoh
