Kathryn Chaplow

A ton of new snow was just dumped on Minnesota, but that doesn't stop me from dreaming about summer! I'd love to have a lake home just like this Lake Michigan cottage designed by Kathryn Chaplow . Actually I'd love to just have a home like this one, it really doesn't even need to be by a lake! That serene bedroom is a slice of heaven! Love the aqua, the ceilings, the little nook...all so pretty. What about the porch...how fun is that red animal print?! And did you notice the blue and green fabric on the pillow on the sofa in the living room? It looks a lot like the fabric from yesterday's nursery ! We gotta figure out what that is, I love it! See more of Kathryn's work right on over here !

I really enjoyed reading the interview Cristin of Simplified Bee did with San Francisco interior designer Kendall Wilkinson . It was actually a turquoise showhouse room she designed that fueled my inspiration to start this blog so long ago...I'd never seen anything like it before! Since then I've continued to be impressed with her work. Her rooms are all so beautiful and glamorous, but never stuffy. I'm also a tremendous fan of her use of color. Read the inspiring interview on Simplified Bee , and for more of her work, visit Kendall Wilkinson Design & Home . Since it's Friday again (where do these weeks go?!), it's time to announce: Only 4 weeks left! And believe it or not, one last wedding shower thrown by my awesome family! I can't wait! Happy weekend everyone! :)

This delightful 1903 Shingle Style home in Massachusetts's North Shore photo of Michael J. Lee also design and elegance of New England to the case of the Old South The challenge for designers of interior decoration Honey Collins face in this classic New England house was to comply with the formalities associated with the same time, it feels hot, exciting and fresh. I like the combination of models everywhere, and the perfect combination of subtle and bold colors. "Landing Room" is great, I'd like to have a space for this.

I'm back!!! What a fantastic vacation I had! I can't wait to get my pictures on to my computer (all 1,300 of them!) and share a few favorites with you guys. I saw loads of turquoise gems I know you're gonna love. I just want to send another thank you to all of my talented guest bloggers...I loved all of your posts! Since I'm feeling pretty exhausted (the NYC part of our trip should have been first on our itinerary!) but mostly since I wish I was still at the beach, I felt these rooms designed by Craig Kettles were perfectly fitting for the day. I'm loving the painted floor and cozy nooks in the bunk room. Wouldn't the painted ceiling in the bedroom would be a delight to gaze up at?! Both rooms so simple, but absolutely lovely in every way! For more spaces as equally as beautiful, head on over to C Designs!

Emily at Design Smack is a girl after my own heart. She recently had an entire post dedicated just to turquoise. Heaven. Some of the images I'd seen, but these I hadn't (among others, but I'm keeping those in my pocket for now.) Chocolate and turquoise is always a pretty combination. Aqua and Apple Green Bedroom Nook

A preppy pairing in high gloss defines and energizes the all-time tiniest nook. For a wee, windowless room like this one, choose paints in pearly or glossy finishes. They reflect light and make even the most minuscule spot feel brighter and more spacious. - Domino
